  8. Note:     The term "vendor" is used to refer to any person, company or group
  9.           distributing the evaluation version of My Little Realm's Read More
  10.           program by any means for profit or for any other purpose.

  12.           The distribution license agreements are immediately below.  
  13.  
  14.           The required contents of the distribution disk are listed near
  15.           line 53 of this document.  The required contents of the .ZIP file
  16.           are listed near line 66 of this document.
  17.  
  18.           You'll find my name, address and phone number, along with 
  19.           descriptions of Read More, at the end of this document.

  21.           The .ZIP file ID is MLRRM25.ZIP.  
  22.  
  23.           The registration price is $20 (USA).  The benefits are listed at
  24.           the end of this document near the descriptions.  Possible product 
  25.           categories would be Education and Fun Books For Kids.  Read More is
  26.           intended to stimulate the reading interests in young people.  It
  27.           also helps parents find new authors for their children.

  40. As the exclusive copyright holder for My Little Realm's Read More program, 
  41. John L. Salisbury (also called the author) authorizes distribution only in 
  42. accordance with the following restrictions:
  43.  
  44.   o  ASP Vendors in good standing are hereby granted permission to 
  45.      distribute the Read More package.  Non-ASP member vendors must 
  46.      request permission prior to distributing this package.
  47.      
  48.   o  The Read More package - including all related program files and 
  49.      documentation files - cannot be modified in any way and must be 
  50.      distributed as a complete package, without exception.  
  51.  
  52.      For disk vendors, the distribution disk's required contents are:
  53.

  55.           _____  INSTALL.TXT       Details installation procedures
  56.           _____  VENDOR.TXT        Contains all vendor information

  64.      For Sysops, the MLRRM25.ZIP files's required contents are:

  75.      Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  76.      batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.

  78.   o  No price or other compensation may be charged by any vendor for the 
  79.      Read More software package.  Vendors may charge their usual fees for
  80.      the materials and services they provide.

  83. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  85. The Read More package cannot be sold as part of some other inclusive 
  86. package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software packaging offer 
  87. without a written agreement from John L.Salisbury.
  88.  
  89. ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Read More package as 
  90. part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) may 
  91. do so provided that all the other restrictions are met.
  92.  
  93. Non-ASP Member Vendors who wish to distribute the Read More package as 
  94. part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) must 
  95. obtain permission from the author prior to beginning such a distribution.
  96.  
  97. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:
  98. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  99. If you would like to distribute the Read More package as a Disk-of-
  100. the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then the
  101. following restrictions apply:
  102.  
  103.   o  ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby 
  104.      given permission to distribute the Read More package under the 
  105.      Disk-of-the-Month style of distribution.
  106.  
  107.   o  Non-ASP Vendors must contact the author in advance to ensure that 
  108.      they have the most current version of the software.
  109.  
  110.   o  Vendors (ASP and non-ASP Members) cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month 
  111.      distribution to use up their inventory of old (out of date) disks.  
  112.      Only current versions of the Read More package may be shipped 
  113.      as Disk-of-the-Month disks.
  114.  
  115.   o  A printed copy of the online documentation may not be reproduced 
  116.      in whole or in part, using any means, without the written permission 
  117.      of the author.  
  118.  
  119.   o  The Read More package cannot be rented or leased to others.
  120.  
  121.   o  No vendor may list Read More in advertisements, catalogs, or 
  122.      other literature which describes Read More as "FREE SOFTWARE".  
  123.  
  124.   o  The author expressly prohibits the distribution of outdated versions 
  125.      of the Read More package without written permission.  If the 
  126.      version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please contact the
  127.      author to ensure that you have the most current version.  
  128.  
  129.   o  Vendors shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  130.      disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed 
  131.      program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized 
  132.      use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this 
  133.      license.

  135. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved to the author.
